Taylor Swift: Accompanies boyfriend Conor Kennedy to Kennedy family wedding; 'asked to leave'
Multiple Grammy-winning performer Taylor Swift and boyfriend Conor Kennedy were reportedly asked to leave a Kennedy family wedding last weekend after turning up without an invitation.
Swift and her boyfriend, who began dating last month, are said to have attended Kyle Kennedy's wedding to Liam Kerr in Boston on Saturday despite having been asked not to come.
Victoria Gifford Kennedy, mother of Kyle, spoke out against the 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' singer on Wednesday, claiming that Swift's appearance at the ceremony was distracting to the other guests.
"They texted me an hour before the wedding and asked if they could come," Victoria told the Boston Herald.
"I responded with a very clear, 'Please do not come'. They came anyway. I personally went up to Ms Swift, whose entrance distracted the entire event, politely introduced myself to her, and asked her as nicely as I could to leave.
"It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me."
Although, Swift's rep Paula Erikson has hit back at Victoria's claims, stating: "There is no truth to that. Taylor was invited to the wedding and the bride thanked her profusely for being there."
Grandmother of Conor, Ethel Kennedy, is said to have recently given her grandson her blessing to date Swift.
