Top popstar Beyonce continues her work in support of World Humanitarian Day. She visited the United Nations in New York on Thursday (August 9).
The new mom posted a picture on her website of a meeting with Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in the General Assembly Hall.
The sexy and talented star has joined forces with the United Nations and humanitarian aid organisations to launch a campaign in honour of World Humanitarian Day.
Beyonce will film the video for 'I Was Here' - the 4 track penned by Dianne Warren - in front of a live audience in the UN's General Assembly Hall, which will be released globally on World Humanitarian Day (August 19).
"We all see the headlines and we think, 'What can I really do to help?'," she said.
"World Humanitarian Day is an opportunity for all of us to work together to make a difference. This is our time to leave our mark on the world and show that we were here and we care."
Recently, Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z were named the 'World's Highest Paid Celebrity Couple' by Forbes, having earned an estimated $78 million (£49.9m) in the past year.
