Shannon Elizabeth: Dismissed from 'Dancing With the Stars'
Shannon Elizabeth would not be part of famous dance show of ABC’s famous program “Dancing With the Stars." This thirty four year old actress was dismissed from the show on Tuesday.
As her professional partner stood by her side Shannon Elizabeth put forth her comments in fit of emotion. "The show has been amazing. I've learned a lot". "I've made a friend for life, and hopefully a bunch of friends for life, and I'll be here to support everyone as much as I can" adds Shannon.
Hough said he "couldn't have asked for more" from a partner.
Further he said "She really is a big dork," "but I love that."
Shannon Elizabeth along with her partner scored 51 out of 60 for their two dance performances on Monday. In fact judges loved the couple's tango, referring it as Elizabeth's "best dance by far." At the same time judges describes Elizabeth as "gawky," "gangly" and "awkward."
The actress' removal breaks a three-week trend of the lowest scorers of the show who have left the ballroom.
Besides Shannon Elizabeth’s dismissal more drama occurs on Tuesday’s show. Cristian de la Fuente, another contestant, came in the last place, losing points on Monday after he hurt his arm and dropped partner Cheryl Burke to the floor during their samba dance feat. In fact he left the set during the live broadcast and also has been taken to the hospital immediately.
On Tuesday, it has been reported that he had ruptured a tendon in his biceps and would need surgery to repair it. However he also has planned to delay the operation so he could carry on with the dancing.
Apart from Shannon Elizabeth Tuesday's show also featured a performance by Def Leppard, the famous rockers of 1980s who sang their classic hit titled "Pour Some Sugar on Me" and also their new single called "Nine Lives."
Former "Dancing With the Stars" contestants Jerry Rice and Kenny Mayne added a dose of silliness to the results with their "DanceCenter" dance segment. It is a parody of ESPN's "SportsCenter."
After the elimination of Shannon Elizabeth and his dancing partner, 5 celebrity contestants remain. They include Taylor, de la Fuente, Yamaguchi, R&B singer Mario and Broadway star Marissa Jaret Winokur. |
