 James Franco: To appear opposite Jason Statham in 'Homefront'
Actor James Franco will appear opposite Jason Statham in Homefront.
The star will take on a villainous role in Gary Fleder's action thriller, reports Variety.
Actor Sylvester Stallone drafted the script, which casts Statham as a former DEA agent whose retirement is interrupted when drugs and violence in his neighbourhood threaten his family.
James Franco will play a meth-pushing ganglord who takes control of the hero's hometown.
The artist starred in 2011's Rise of the Planet of the Apes and will soon be seen in About Cherry and Spring Breakers.
