 Hugh Jackman: Tweets first day of shooting 'Wolverine'
Popular Hollywood star Hugh Jackman has discussed the first day of filming on The Wolverine.
The star reprises his role as Logan/Wolverine for the fifth time in the sequel to 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which is being directed by James Mangold.
The actor shared his excitement about the first day of filming via a Twitter post yesterday.
"We're on day 1 of shooting," Jackman wrote. "Wolverine is back…feel so pumped about this one……never felt so ready!!!! will keep y'all posted!!!"
Later, Jackman shared a photograph of one of the high-protein meals he is eating to stay in shape for the part.
"And you know what that means.... the wolverine diet!! this was meal 2 at 9am this morning," he wrote alongside the photograph of chicken breast and asparagus.
Recently, Jackman spoke about his excitement at returning to the role, describing Wolverine as the backbone of his career.
While shooting on The Wolverine began yesterday in Sydney, Australia, with the key role of Viper still yet to be filled following Jessica Biel's departure.
