Jeremy Renner: 'Accidentally' consumed viagra

Actor Jeremy Renner has revealed that he accidentally took Viagra on a long-haul flight.

While aAppearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Renner revealed that he mistook the drug for a sleeping pill.

Renner, while explaining that he does not sleep well on planes, said: "I had to fly from London to Los Angeles for dinner and then get right back on a plane to London, so that's 10, 12 hours, and I had to get off the plane to work, so I had to sleep. I had to sleep.

"So somebody gave me some pills like the Ambien - great, take a little sleeping pill, pop it. And I realise nothing's happening but something else is happening and I realise very quickly that that 'A' was actually a little 'V' on the pill. Because not only did I not sleep the entire flight, there was camping happening."

While joking that he is "no longer friends" with the person who gave him the pill, Renner mimed putting a blanket around him to walk to the restroom and admitted: "It was so embarrassing. I mean, I was really embarrassed."

The 'Bourne Legacy' star continued: "Most of [the other passengers] were sleeping. Coolly enough, I had Dennis Hopper, God rest his soul, laying next to me, but his daughter was there playing with all these glass menageries on the ledge. And then halfway through the flight I'm playing with her and I'm like, 'Hold on a second man - I'm going to go to jail, I'm going to get arrested. This does not look good'."
