George Michael: Confirms to perform two songs at Olympics closing ceremony
Living legend George Michael has confirmed that he will perform at the London 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony.
The star insisted that he was not meant to talk about the show, but then continued to confirm his participation in the celebrations, which will take place on August 12.
"I'll be performing a couple of tracks at the closing ceremony of the Olympics," he told ITV 1's Lorraine.
Although, Michael maintained that the slot will not feature a Wham! reunion and that he has no plans to perform with former band mate Andrew Ridgeley in the future.
"I don't think that will happen I'm afraid, I don't think so," he explained. "I think one of the reasons it gets talked about so much is because people want it so much and everybody else has done it.
"Who hasn't got back together? Both Andrew and I appreciate everyone's desire to see us on stage together again, but I don't think it's going to happen."
