 Katie Holmes: Reportedly discussed Tom Cruise divorce with Nicole Kidman
Actress Katie Holmes is said to have confided in Aussie star Nicole Kidman prior to filing for divorce from Tom Cruise.
The Australian actress, who was married to Cruise for 11 years - has reportedly been friends with the Batman Begins actress ever since Holmes tied the knot with Cruise in 2006.
The former 'Dawson's Creek' actress made secret calls to Kidman in the lead-up to the divorce, with a source saying: "Nicole has been supportive, saying she's been through it too and to hang in there", as reported US Weekly.
This source added: "She has been a private friend not many people know about."
The claims made by the tabloid that, Holmes reached out to Kidman after mounting fears about her daughter Suri, and speculates that they may have communicated on the disposable phone Holmes was rumored to have used to avoid detection.
Holmes has also allegedly been banned from discussing her marriage and Scientology as part of her divorce settlement from the actor.
Tom Cruise divorced Nicole Kidman in 2001, citing irreconcilable differences in their relationship.
