'Jurassic Park 4': Hires screenwriters of 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes'
Forthcoming 'Jurassic Park 4' is moving forward with a new writing team.
Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, the 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' screenwriters, have been hired to pen the fourth installment in the blockbuster dinosaur franchise, reports Deadline.
Steven Spielberg and Kathleen Kennedy will return to produce Jurassic Park 4. Spielberg, who helmed the 1993 original and sequel The Lost World, will not return to the director's chair.
Previously, Mark Protosevich, William Monahan and John Sayles have all worked on scripts for the sequel.
Landmark movie 'Jurassic Park' was voted Steven Spielberg's greatest movie by web site Digital Spy readers in a poll in January. The film will return to the big screen in 3D on July 13, 2013 to mark the film's 20th anniversary.
At the worldwide box office, the 'Jurassic Park' series have grossed more than $1.9 billion.
