 Michael Eisner: Gets Hollywood Walk of Fame star
Michael Eisner has found a place on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday.
Michael Eisner has gained fame in Hollywood first as president of Paramount Pictures and then as CEO of The Walt Disney Co.
At a gala ceremony, Michael Eisner accredited John Travolta for his success.
"I am overwhelmed and I want to thank John Travolta for flying here from a film shoot," "Anything John was associated with while I was at Paramount was a hit. He is my lucky stone. And my success is also tied to the people I worked with." adds the elated Eisner.
Travolta, who starred in Paramount's '70s hits namely "Grease" and "Saturday Night Fever," also expressed his happiness for being able to fete Michael Eisner. He said, "I consider it an honor to be a part of this as he has done so much for my career."
As a mark of gratitude Disney presented him an iconic Mickey and Minnie for him. Also Disneyland's band came to add some music in this happy occasion.
The source says that Michael Eisner has seen lots of ups and downs in his career. He has started his career in American Broadcasting Co. before he stepped into the famous Paramount. During his time Disney has reached its zenith from 1984 till 2005 when he has to step down.
