Katy Perry: Music video 'Wide Awake' leaks online

Katy Perry's new music video has leaked online.

The singer will release 'Wide Awake' as the final single from her Teenage Dream era on July 2.

The accompanying music video sees the star wrap filming on her 'California Gurls' music video before she is confronted with a dark labyrinth in her dressing room.

Perry is then greeted by a younger version of herself who helps her get through the trials and tribulations of the maze, which represents the star's turbulent two years.

The clip was supposed to premiere on MTV in the US and online shortly after tomorrow evening (June 19).

'Wide Awake' serves as the official single for Perry's forthcoming concert movie Part of Me 3D, which will be in cinemas from July 5.
