Madonna: Stirs up controversy with 'stage gun sequence' for 'MDNA' tour
Stunning popstar Madonna has courted anti-gun criticism after being snapped wielding a firearm during rehearsals for her forthcoming 'MDNA' tour.
Currently, the evergreen star is gearing up to launch the upcoming tour in Tel Aviv, Israel on May 31.
Madonna's fans have now taken photos of the star's rehearsal on stage at the Ramat Gan Stadium.
One sequence of the show finds the singer brandishing a pistol and aiming into the crowd, while her dancers wield machine guns and rifles, reports WENN.
The 'Girl Gone Wild' singer faced criticism in 2008 from the anti-violence group Mothers Against Murder And Aggression, when she wore a pair of Chanel shoes with gun-shaped heels to an event.
The forthcoming 'MDNA' tour has also sparked some controversy after a video of Madonna rehearsing a medley of her song 'Express Yourself' and Lady GaGa's 'Born This Way' leaked, sparking criticism that the singer was trying to make a dig at the latter song.
