 Will Smith: 'Barack Obama's gay marriage support is brave'
Men In Black 3 star Will Smith has praised US President Barack Obama for announcing his support for same-sex marriage.
The US President announced in an ABC television interview last week that he'd changed his stance on gay marriage after consulting family, friends and military personnel.
The superstar praised Obama's declaration as "brave" while holding a press conference in Berlin on Monday (May 14).
"If anybody can find someone to love them and to help them through this difficult thing that we call life, I support that in any shape or form," Smith declared.
Rapper Jay-Z has also praised Obama's support of gay marriage and insisted that restrictions on the LGBT community are "holding the country back"
However, the change in policy was met with criticism by Bristol Palin, who accused President Obama of watching "one too many episodes of Glee".
Later, single mother Palin was called a "hypocrite" by Jersey Shore's Jenni 'JWoww' Farley for taking a moral values stance.
