 Barack Obama: To appear for interview on 'The View'
President Barack Obama is to be interviewed on The View next week, it has been announced.
The head of state of the US will tape an interview with Barbara Walters and her co-hosts on Monday (May 14), which will then air Tuesday (May 15) on The View.
Mr. President's chat with the female panel will mark his first appearance on the daytime series since 2010.
Obama is expected to discuss his recent announcement that he has changed his stance on gay marriage and now personally supports the LGBT community's right to wed.
Other stars like Lady GaGa, Jane Lynch and Neil Patrick Harris are among the stars to have praised Obama's support for gay marriage, while Bristol Palin accused the leader of being naive.
