American Idol: 'Top-3' for the semi-finals revealed
16-year-old Hollie Cavanagh has become the latest contestant to be eliminated from the eleventh season of American Idol.
The contestant was sent home during Thursday night's live results show after host Ryan Seacrest revealed that she had received the lowest number of public votes following her performances of 'I Can't Make You Love Me' and 'Faithfully'.

Rest of the contestants who will move on to become the Top 3 are Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet and Phillip Phillips.
The show's judge Jennifer Lopez also took to the stage during the broadcast to perform her single 'Dance Again', while former American Idol winner David Cook appeared for a rendition of his new song 'The Last Song I'll Ever Write For You'.
The users of web site Digital Spy voted Sanchez as their favorite performer of the week with over a third of the reader vote, while Phillips, Ledet and Cavanagh pulled in 19.6%, 12.8% and 20% of reader votes respectively.
The semi-finals of the American Idol will take place on Wednesday, May 16 and Thursday, May 17 at 8/7c on Fox.
