'Rascal Raccoon's Raging Revenge': Graphic novel to be brought to big screen by Warner Bros
Graphic novel 'Rascal Raccoon's Raging Revenge' is to be adapted for cinema by Warner Bros.
Todd Strauss-Schulson, 'A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas' director, will bring the Oni Press graphic novel to the big screen, based on a screenplay by Matt Fogel.
Warner is planning to develop a live-action/CGI hybrid based on Brendan Hay and Justin Wagner's book, which parodies the studio's Looney Tunes creations, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Released in 2011, Rascal Raccoon's Raging Revenge, tells the story of a toon who embarks on a quest to kill the animator who created him.
Under the production banner of Oni, 'Closed on Mondays' Eric Gitter will produce the film, while Strauss-Schulson's production partner Ken Franchi will oversee the project via the duo's Ulterior Productions. Joe Nozemack and Noah Greenshner also have production credits.
However, 'Rascal Raccoon's Raging Revenge' is yet to be assigned a release date.
