Madonna: Postpones 'MDNA' tour opening by two days
Queen bee of pop Madonna has delayed the launch of her 'MDNA' tour, it has been reported.
This tour, to promote her latest studio album MDNA, was originally scheduled to begin on May 29 at the Ramat Gan Stadium in Tel Aviv.
Madonna's first concert of the tour will now be held on Thursday, May 31 due to production delays, according to USA Today.
Madonna entertainer announced her world tour earlier this year, including 76 concert dates in North America and Europe.
Tickets for the tour sold in minutes, with sold-out shows in New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, Barcelona, Amsterdam, and Istanbul. So far, the 'MDNA' tour has sold over 1.4 million tickets.
The 53-year-old's twelfth studio album is MDNA, and it has received mixed reviews from critics since its release.
It claimed the biggest second week sales drop in US chart history, after slipping on the Billboard 200 list by 88%.
Show promoters have assured fans that all tickets dated for May 29 will be accepted for the May 31 show.
