Britney Spears: Fiance gets officially approved as co-conservator
Superstar of pop music Britney Spears's fiance Jason Trawick has been officially approved as her co-conservator.
Jason Trawick, who was also previously Spears's agent, was granted permission to help the singer's father Jamie Spears manage her personal affairs by the Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday (April 25), The AP reports.
Although, Trawick has not been granted any direct responsibility for managing Spears's assets.
Spears has been the subject of a court-ordered conservatorship - where a person is deemed unable to make legal, financial or medical decisions for themselves - since February 2008.
Her father applied to the court following a deterioration in her health and a number of public incidents in which she appeared to behave erratically.
The couple became engaged in December 2011.
