Cheryl Cole: Announces new single release date
British singer Cheryl Cole has announced the release date of her new single and third album.
The 28-year-old will debut 'Call My Name' this Friday (April 20) across UK radio from 8.10am, ahead of its release on June 10.
Filmed in downtown LA, the Anthony Mandler-directed video for the single will premiere on Vevo on May 2.
Rumored to be a dance track, the Calvin Harris- written and produced song will serve as the first cut lifted from Cole's third solo album A Million Lights, which will be released on June 18.
The LP, the follow-up to number one albums 3 Words and Messy Little Raindrops, was recorded in London, New York and LA with collaborators including Alex Da Kid, will.i.am, Lana Del Rey, Jim Beanz and newcomers Pantha and HyGrade.
The Girls Aloud star will drop her ex-husband Ashley's surname for her professional career, suggests recent reports.
