Kylie Minogue: Madame Tussauds museum in Australia unveils new waxwork
Aussie star Kylie Minogue's waxwork has gone on display at Australia's new Madame Tussauds museum (pictured left).
The Australian singer is the latest name added to the Sydney attraction, which opened its doors this week.
The last few touches were put to the waxwork, which captures Minogue during a performance on her recent Aphrodite: Les Folies tour.
The general manager at Madame Tussauds, Hywel Mathias, said that, the 43-year-old's £200,000 double was one of the most popular exhibits, alongside Johnny Depp and Ray Meagher (Home and Away's Alf Stewart).
"Its been really busy. We opened our doors to over 1,000 people on the first day," Mathias said. "The one thing that I'm hearing time and time again is people say just how real they all look.
"I've got a dedicated team who spend all the time retouching, making it perfect, keeping it 100% right. If we get a little bit of damage we resolve it but most people are quite respectful", added he.
Recently, Dannii Minogue and Delta Goodrem attended the unveiling of their respective figures at the museum.
