 Foxy Brown: Released from New York jail
Foxy Brown, the much hyped rap singer, got her long-awaited release from prison of New York City on Friday morning. She has already spent 8 months of her one year sentence for allegedly violating multiple probations.
The reporters have collected detailed information about Foxy Brown’s release. Amidst much hullabaloo Brown walked out of the compound. Several policemen were present at that time. After reaching the parking ground where multiple vehicles have been waiting for her, she took time out to embrace and then take pictures with myriads of fans and well-wishers who had come to see her. There were many who wore T-shirts with interesting caption like “Free Foxy Brown" being written on them. Some people also carried signs like "Welcome home”.
In order to take back home their beloved Foxy Brown’s family members and friends were also present there. They include Foxy Brown's mother, Judith Marchand, New York City councilor namely Charles Barron and a hair and makeup artist.
Special glitz also waited from Brown’s side. Before walking down to the car, the rapper changed her brown -colored leather jacket and wore a dotted scarf over her hair.
Foxy Brown finally took a backseat of a chauffeured white Rolls-Royce Phantom and soon drove along with groove of security and paparazzi behind her.
Hinting at the drama that cropped regarding the release of Foxy, Stephen Morello, a Department of Corrections spokesman has put forth his comments. He revealed about Foxy Brown’s meeting with Charles Barron at the prison of Rikers Island. He admitted that it has been an abnormal move as prisoners are generally taken from prison on a public bus and then taken to a city’s parking lot. Further he added that as a public official, Barron had access to the prison and therefore he had been requested to pick up Brown.
From Barron’s side, however, no clarification regarding Foxy Brown’s release was made.
Few more facts were revealed from various sources. According to Foxy Brown's publicist, the singer rapper was released into her mother’s custody.
Earlier authorities had mentioned that Brown received seventy six days in isolation in jail after being shoved by one of her inmates and also for refuting to do a drug test.
Foxy Brown is a musical sensation in the true sense. She was the first female rap artist to make a debut with her 1999 album "Chyna Doll." Thus this versatile singer secured the topmost position on the Billboard 200, the U.S.’s pop chart.
