Whitney Houston: Police conclude death investigation, find no crime
The reason of death of Whitney Houston has finally been concluded by the police.
The legendary singer passed away in February of an accidental drowning in her Los Angeles hotel room at the age of 48.
Earlier this week, Whitney Houston's autopsy results were released, with reports later revealing that her body was covered by scars, cuts and burns at the time of death and that her body had been ravaged from years of drug abuse.
Although no foul play was suspected in the death, police have since formally concluded an investigation and determined that no crime was involved.
On Wednesday, Lieutenant Mark Rosen announced that, the investigation had been closed following the review of Houston's autopsy report. He also extended condolences to the late star's family and friends for their loss.
The 'One Moment In Time' singer's mother Cissy Houston has said that she was "very proud" of her daughter and did the best she could to help her through her troubles.
