Natalie Portman: Chooses from Dior lipsticks to support 'Free the Children'
Actress Natalie Portman has chosen a lipstick from Dior Beauty's new fall make-up collection to raise money for charity.
Portman serves as an ambassador to Dior, and proceeds from Portman's chosen lipstick, Nude Grège #169, will be donated to Free the Children, a non-profit organisation that helps to support girls' education in Kenya.
This March, the star's vintage Christian Dior dress she wore to the Oscars was sold for $50,000 (£31,800).
Dior's designer John Galliano was let go from the fashion house in 2011, after he was accused of making anti-Semitic remarks.
The Oscar-winning actress, who is the fashion brand's spokesmodel, released a statement at the time explaining that she would not be associated with Galliano.
"In light of this video, and as an individual who is proud to be Jewish, I will not be associated with Mr Galliano in any way," she said.
"I hope at the very least, these terrible comments remind us to reflect and act upon combating these still-existing prejudices that are the opposite of all that is beautiful."
