Neil Patrick Harris: To be the host of 66th Tony Awards
Comedian Neil Patrick Harris will host the 66th annual Tony Awards.
Harris returns for his third Tonys hosting stint on June 12 at New York City's historic Beacon Theater.
The fabulous actor said in a statement that, he's "thrilled" to be honoring the very best of Broadway once again.
"Not only will I be shining a spotlight on the best that Broadway has to offer, but hopefully I'll score some free house seats to a show - or five," the actor joked.
The 'How I Met Your Mother' actor first hosted the Tony Awards in 2009 and returned last year, when War Horse took home the 'Best Play' prize.
The actor has performed on Broadway in Sweeney Todd and Cabaret.
The nominees for the 2012 Tony Award will announced on May 1 and the 66th annual Tony Awards air Sunday, June 10 at 8/7c on CBS.
