Jay-Z: Featured for the first time in commercial
Clothing brand Rocawear has released its first-ever commercial featuring its co-founder Jay-Z.
This new 30-second black and white advert shows Jay-Z looking back on his journey as an artist - from growing up at Marcy House Projects in Brooklyn to becoming a hip-hop mogul.
Jay-Z narrates: "My goal was to have one gold album, and that was it. And then it became, 'I want to show that artists can ascend to the executive ranks'."
The celeb rapper co-founded clothing brand Rocawear with Damon Dash in 1999.
The 'Watch The Throne' rapper announced last year that Rocawear is collaborating with Billionaire Boys Club, a label created by fellow mogul Pharrell Williams.
Recently, Pharrell was reported to be working on potential material for Jay-Z's 12th studio album, which he has described as "crazy".
Previously the duo teamed up for 'Glory', Jay-Z's tribute to his daughter Blue Ivy.
