 Bobby Brown: Singer arrested over DUI charges
Singer Bobby Brown has been arrested in Los Angeles for a DUI offence.
The ex-husband of the late Whitney Houston was pulled over by police in Reseda, California at 12.20pm local time for talking on his cell phone while driving, reports TMZ.
The 43-year-old was arrested at the scene on suspicion of being under the influence, but it is currently undetermined which substances he may have taken.
The singer was taken to Van Nuys jail in Los Angeles, though he has since been bailed and his manager has confirmed to Access Hollywood that he is now at home.
Brown has a previous DUI conviction from 1996, when he served eight days in jail for the offence.
Recently, Bobby Brown caused controversy after walking out of Houston's funeral early with his entourage.
