 Priscilla Presley: Eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars"
Priscilla Presley, the 62 year old actress and former wife of Elvis Presley has been eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" on Tuesday. After her elimination there are seven celebrities who will compete for the venerable disco-ball trophy.
Throughout the competition, Priscilla Presley's rumba was dull and technically imprecise. She danced to perfection only twice before in DWTS history that exposed what she was lacking in technique. She failed to capture enough viewer votes to overcome her low score. She got just 21 out of 30 points.
Head judge Len Goodman said, "It lacked spontaneity for me. It was too careful. I was disappointed with the performance".
Priscilla Presley said to judges, "I applaud you. You did a great job".
Before leaving the ballroom, Priscilla Presley said, "This has been an incredible experience. I learned so much about myself and all the things I could do".
Rest of seven contestants include pro football player Jason Taylor, Olympic skater Kristi Yamaguchi, R&B singer Mario, and actors Shannon Elizabeth, Cristian de la Fuente, Marlee Matlin and Marissa Jaret Winokur. |
