 Russell Brand: Gives $600 to homeless man in LA
Comdeian Russell Brand has reportedly handed over $600 (£400) to a homeless man in Los Angeles.
The 36-year-old gave the kind gift while with his alleged girlfriend, Hungarian model Nikolett Barabas, according to the Daily Star.
"He met a homeless guy on Hollywood Boulevard, just around the corner from the home he shared with [ex-wife] Katy Perry," a supposed friend claimed.
"Russ was with his new girlfriend and they struck up a conversation with the guy," the aide went on. "After chatting for a few minutes he decided he wanted to get a roof over his head for a few nights.
"So he went over the road and withdrew $600 for him. When Russell handed over the wad of cash, the fella had tears in his eyes."
The Get Him to the Greek actor was earlier this month arrested for apparently throwing a paparazzo's iPhone at a window, which could see him go to jail for up to two years.
