 'Paranormal Activity 4': To be penned by 'The River' producer
New film Paranormal Activity 4 is to be written by The River producer Zack Estrin.
He has secured a deal with Paramount to work with the horror franchise's co-creators Jason Blum and Oren Peli, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Estrin is a writer and executive producer for ABC's paranormal series, which is also executive produced by both Blum and Peli.
He has worked on various dramas including Prison Break and No Ordinary Family.
Paranormal Activity 3 directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman are expected to return, but a deal has yet to be closed.
'Paranormal Activity 4' will be released to cinemas on October 19.
