Lindsay Lohan: 'Hit-and-run' charges against me is all a complete lie'
Actress Lindsay Lohan has denied being involved in a hit-and-run incident.
The recent Playboy model was accused of striking a nightclub manager with her car and driving away from Sayers Club in Hollywood late Tuesday evening.
Later, the club manager visited a local emergency room complaining of knee pain and was rumoured to be considering pressing charges against Lohan.
The 'Mean Girls' actress took to her Twitter page on Wednesday to defend herself against the allegations, insisting that she had nothing to do with the incident, and that she spent no time at the venue due to the large paparazzi presence.
"Scrape? This is all a complete lie. I've been at community service," she wrote.
"Last night, I attempted to wish a friend happy birthday, which I didn't even get to do because I was freaked out by all of the paparazzi. These false accusations are absurd."
