Rupert Grint: Signs for Dennis Wilson biopic 'The Drummer'

'Harry Potter' star Rupert Grint and Chloe Moretz have signed up for roles in 'The Drummer'.

Grint and Moretz have agreed deals to appear in the Dennis Wilson biopic, starring Aaron Eckhart as the late Beach Boys member.

Chloë Moretz will play the musician's daughter Jennifer Wilson in the project, who was with him during the darkest era of his life, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

Rupert will portray William Morris mailroom intern Stan Shapiro, who became a close friend of Wilson's.

This new film 'The Drummer' will document the last six years of Wilson's life until his death in 1983.

Previously, Vera Farmiga signed up to star as Wilson's lover Christine McVie earlier this year.

This nascent project will begin filming on June 15 in California and Savannah, Georgia.
