 Denise Richards: Joins cast of 'Blue Lagoon' remake
41-year-old actress Denise Richards has joined the new Lifetime remake of 'Blue Lagoon'.
The film meant to be released on television, will be a reboot of the 1980 romance which starred Brooke Shields and Christopher Atkins as two teens marooned on a seemingly deserted island.
Artists Brenton Thwaites and Indiana Evans will play the lead characters in the updated version.
Reportedly, Christopher Atkins will be making a small cameo appearance in the movie.
Charlie Sheen's ex-wife will play the mother of the Evans character, searching for her lost daughter, according to Deadline.
Recently, the actress announced that, she will be launching a range of hair care products.
Denise Richards was recently spotted attending one of her children's softball games with ex-husband Charlie Sheen, who she says she has been getting along with these days.
