Madhuri Dixit: Bollywood's living legend unveils own waxwork at Madame Tussauds
Bollywood's icon, internationally popular Madhuri Dixit has unveiled her new wax figure at Madame Tussauds in London (the image at the left).
The beautiful and talented superstar was present at the official launch of her wax model on Wednesday (March 7).
The 44-year-old said at the event: "I am thrilled to be here in Madame Tussauds unveiling a wax figure of myself. It's incredible just how detailed the figure is - they have captured my look beautifully.
"I feel very humbled to be included alongside other Bollywood stars and some of my personal heroes."
Among the other Bollywood film actors at the site include Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.
A model of Kareena Kapoor was recently unveiled at Madame Tussauds in Blackpool.
"We are delighted to welcome Madhuri here today and to be including her figure in our A-list line-up. We know Bollywood fans will also be delighted," said Liz Edwards, PR manager for Madame Tussauds.
"With so many awards to her name and a career spanning over 25 years, she undoubtedly deserves her place here at Madame Tussauds London," she added.
