 Meryl Streep: To be present as a presenter at the Oscars 2012
Refined and classy Meryl Streep has been added to the lineup of presenters for this year's Oscars.
Streep joins previously announced presenters including Michael Douglas, Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry, Tom Cruise and Tom Hanks.
The versatile film actress is also nominated for her lead performance in The Iron Lady, making it her 17th Academy Awards nomination.
Meryl is in competition with Michelle Williams, Rooney Mara, Viola Davis and Glenn Close for the 'Best Actress' award.
Previously, Streep won two Oscars - 'Best Supporting Actress' for Kramer vs. Kramer in 1979 and 'Best Actress' for Sophie's Choice in 1982.
With Billy Crystal as the host, the 84th Academy Awards will air on Sunday, February 26 on ABC in the US and on Sky Movies in the UK.
