 Connery will not appear in Indiana Jones 4
Legendary star Sean Connery announced that he will not appear as Harrison Ford's father in the upcoming Indiana Jones series's fourth movie. The 76-year-old told in a statement in a website - "If anything could have pulled me out of retirement, it would have been an Indiana Jones film." He also said - "I love working with Steven and George [Lucas], and it goes without saying that it is an honour to have Harrison as my son." Connery starred in 1989's 'Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade' - the third movie in the series. although Harrison is now 64-years-old, he'll still resume his role as Indy in the movie. Instead, the cast will include John Hurt, Ray Winstone, Cate Blanchett and of course, Harrison Ford . "I do, however, have one bit of advice for Junior: demand that the critters be digital, the cliffs be low, and for goodness sake keep that whip by your side at all times in case you need to escape from the stunt coordinator! This is a remarkable cast, and I can only say, 'Break a leg, everyone," adds Sir Sean. Daredevil archaeologist Indiana Jones first appeared on screen in Raiders of the Lost Ark in 1981. This fourth movie has been in development for more than a decade. |
