We're supposed to believe that West, one of the best-looking guys at Gilmore High, is a shy, tongue-tied nerd who doesn't rate a hello from the girls. Right. And just to drive the point home, he plays the accordion! If anything, The Practice's Sokoloff and Freaks and Geeks's Franco probably left this realizing how lucky they are to work on good shows, where occasionally the writing matters.
