Overwiew :A domestic potboiler set in the claustrophobic backwater environs of a Kansas stockyard, circa 1960, where family matriarch Delilah Potts rides herd over the husky hired hands who drift in and out of her employment. Among them is sensitive Clay, who befriends Delilah's emotionally disturbed son-with-a-secret and tries to free him from her despotic grasp.
