Overwiew :Todd Anderson's (Storm P) life changes when he is chosen as the #1 professional basketbal draft pick and signs to play for his home team, the New Jersey Nets, for $30 million. But his mom, Lady Em (Jenifer Lewis), is not going to let her son forget his roots. So keeping up with the family tradition Todd invites his family & friends for a cookout, on the very same day he scheduled an endorsement interview, leding to a chaos. Watching over the proceedings is the neighborhood association's security guard (Queen Latifah), who's there to make none of their rules get broken. Unfortunately for Todd as the family arrives, the rules get broken.
