Overwiew :An immigrant teenager circumnavigates the social strictures of 1950s Cleveland by scamming his way into the good graces of local hotshot D.J. Billy Magic, an unctuous sort whose friendship with the boy brings out his tender side. A relative breath of fresh air from screenwriter Joe Eszterhaus, whose own childhood informs the story.
