Overwiew :A kitschy live-action version of Harold R. Foster's Arthurian comic strip, with the titular upstart squire protecting a beautiful (and butt-kicking) princess and keeping Excalibur safe from the Vikings. Villains Lumley (of 'Absolutely Fabulous' fame, as Morgan Le Fey) and Kier (as Sligon the Usurper) battle desperately to out-evil one another, and the dramatic pacing stays true to the source material's cliff-hanging hamminess.
