Overwiew :This romantic drama is about three friends seperated due to war. Gilda Besse (Theron), a fashion photographer living in occupied Paris shares her apartment with a Spanish Civil War refugee, Mia (Cruz) and an Irish schoolteacher, Guy (Townsend), with whom she falls in love. As the world drifts toward war, Gilda defiantly pursues her hedonistic lifestyle and her burgeoning career as a photographer. But Guy and Mia feel impelled to join the fight against fascism, and the three friends are separated, seemingly forever. |
