This one may generate a few tears. No profanity,
no sex, no violence but a great story line of a
child prodigy reunited with his biological parents through music. A triumph of believing, persistence, and family. | | | | Reply | | | novemberbaby says @ Thursday - December 13,2007
August Rush was a nice film. The story was good and so was the acting. All the actors did a very good job. As the young child hears the music and tries to find his parents, you are cheering for him and hopes that he finds them. | | | | Reply | | | sergio774 says @ Thursday - December 13,2007
A beautiful love story. Contribution of strong performances from all characters. Music is also very good. I love this movie. | | | | Reply | | | jessicaengland6 says @ Tuesday - December 04,2007
It was wonderful to watch this play out and the end was beautiful. All the actors were perfect for their roles and the music was also inspiring. | | | | Reply | | | c-breezzy_akacc says @ Tuesday - December 04,2007
This movie was extremely slow. I walked out of the theater after twenty minutes. The kid that plays August Rush is probably the worst actor. | | | | Reply | | | faheemsultan1 says @ Thursday - November 29,2007
The casting was terrific. Cinematography was fluid and lyrical. The acting from entire cast was phenomenal. | | | | Reply | | | josejuan31h says @ Thursday - November 29,2007
The movie was disgusting. The story line did not flow well at all; the acting, though I love all the people in this film, was unacceptable. | | | | Reply | | | gslarski says @ Wednesday - November 28,2007
The three main characters are all "beautiful" people who manage to convey the story with a minimum of dialog. Additional characters, including Terrence Howard as the social worker, Jamia Simone Nash as the young girl in the church choir, and Leon G. Thomas as the young boy who befriends the musical prodigy, contribute strong performances. | | | | Reply | | | snpurcell75 says @ Wednesday - November 28,2007
If you appreciate varieties of movies, you will appreciate this movie. It was spiritual, motivational, a drama, a romance, a thriller, a nail biting, tense causing, horribly amazing movie. Anyone will love this movie. | | | | Reply | | | anagyi17 says @ Wednesday - November 28,2007
A fantastic film with classical, rock, gospel, and guitar ballads music. A love story that transcends to the spiritual for family viewing. | | | | Reply | | |
