  Critic Reviews  Grade
USA Today - Claudia Puig : Unless you like your summer movies laced with a heavy dose of homophobia, sexism and racism, steer clear of this unfunny Adam Sandler movie.   more...   D+
Seattle Post-Intelligencer - Sean Axmaker : It's kind of like Tootsie, only without the drag. Or the class. Or the laughs.   more...   C
San Francisco Chronicle - Peter Hartlaub : ...despite the fact that the movie covers some new cinematic territory, much of the humor feels recycled...   more...   C+
Rolling Stone - Peter Travers : No comedy this year can beat this dud for mealy-mouthed hypocrisy.   more...   D
ReelViews - James Berardinelli : ...to be subjected to Sandler inundating us with gay jokes then turning around and condemning intolerance is a bit too much to swallow.   more...   C
New York Times - Manohla Dargis : Sporadically funny, casually sexist, blithely racist and about as visually sophisticated as a parking-garage surveillance video...   more...   D+
New York Post - Kyle Smith : The movie isn't insulting to homosexuals but to comedy.   more...   D
Hollywood Reporter - Kirk Honeycutt : Lame sit-com that will deter no one who loves Adam Sandler.   more...   D
filmcritic.com - Chris Cabin : ...the execution could be lightly described as flippin' horrendous.   more...   D+
Entertainment Weekly - Lisa Schwarzbaum : ...I felt victimized by the stereotype shtick of reliably grating Rob Schneider as a Canadian-Japanese wedding-chapel minister from SNL castoff hell.   more...   C-
E! Online - Dezhda Mountz : ...a high-concept flick that actually beats low expectations.   more...   B-
Chicago Tribune - Michael Phillips : The film is half rutting goat, half preacher.   more...   C
Boston Globe - Wesley Morris : Broad and badly made but sporadically inspired...   more...   C+

Horrible! Absolutely Horrible! Didn't laugh once and it made me hate Adam Sandler all anew. Typical of his highly offensive and tasteless sense of -cough- humor. Really dissapointed in Kevin James, he's so funny on King of Queens but falls flat when put in a movie. I want my money back!!
