  Critic Reviews  Grade
reviews.thatcow.com - : This movie is more of a particularly good episode of Saturday Night Live (which may not be a recommendation for many of you) than a chunk of film. It's amusing, doesn't have to be watched all at once, and isn't really bad or anything. It just isn't offering much depth or more than sophmoric comments on sexuality.  more...  3/10
www.film.u-net.com - : The basis for this movie is a gem, picking up the most popular questions from a manual on sexual problems and creating fables around them. The script, by Woody Allen, is both endlessly inventive and extremely funny - for once Allen is able to branch away from his standard movie persona and showcase his wider talents. The supporting cast all do pretty well, especially Wilder, although the nature of the film is such that there is no time for character development.   more...  4/5
www.filmcritic.com - : A minor classic and Woody Allen's most absurd film ever, this series of seven short vignettes is worth a look for its '70s fueled humor and sex-crazed hysterics. Based on (well, not really -- inspired by, let's say) the watershed book, Allen indulges in homages to everyone from Scorsese to Kubrick to Fellini, with stops along the way for his traditional neurotic filmmaking style.  more...  4/5
