He'd write an urban comedy in which a Mafia leader bearing an uncanny resemblance to Marlon Brando's Don Corleone in ''The Godfather'' is at the center of a farcical conspiracy -- and somehow get Brando to play the part. Think of it: Brando playing a character based on a character he originated, doing the Don again, the padded cheeks, the cracked voice, the whole bit.
