www.eonline.com - : Looking for the ultimate Hollywood torture test? Try sitting through the entire 85 minutes of Plump Fiction, an insipid spoof on Quentin Tarantino's 1994 success. Brown, Castellaneta and Davidson are at the mercy of a horrendous script that should have never come close to reaching the screen. Watching Brown eat a dozen tacos isn't exactly a laugh riot, and Castellaneta's Forrest Gump imitation is downright embarrassing. The only reason to see this turkey is the amusing short that precedes it. The three-minute Swing Blade is an inventive blending of Swingers and Sling Blade that packs more laughs than the feature attraction. Especially amusing is a scene where the dim-witted ''Carl'' character is attempting to leave a message on the answering machine of a ''beautiful baby.'' See the short, it's money.
