Hi.
Just breezing through and came across this by chance. Seeing there not already any reviews, I thought I would give one.
1. Sorry Lindsey's in rehab but if she is sticking with it because she wants to rather than having no choice, good luck kid. You've still got a lot going for you, grasp the nettle and get back to the impression you gave in 'The Parent Trap' and move on from there.
2. I never wanted to see Lindsey's 'Parent Trap' because I've been a fan of Hayley Mills since she started (she's two years younger than I) and of course that whole British acting family the Millses, especially Sir John Mills. But I was persuaded to see it and loved it.
You did a good job Lindsey. The script updates were good where needed and various hilarious elements were better done than the ones they replaced while the essential relationships were were held together but brilliantly updated to 'modern' times. After all, Concord no longer flies (due to teh French being incapable of keeping Paris airport's runways clean!) but that alone only really dates it now.
You showed great promise, Lindsey and have done some good work since which I have enjoyed (although nopt really my cup of tea) because I have followed your career since 'The Parent Trap'. So, get it together kid, you've still got a lot of good stuff to give.
I saw Hayley Mills live a few months back in a touring play. She may be too docile, too 'nice' for your spirits, Lindsey, but she's got a lot of solid good film work behind her since her 'Parent Trap' days and there is no reason why you should not do likewise too.
Good Luck.
