Overwiew :The sophomore effort for Huang, writer and director of 'Swimming With Sharks.' Over the course of an evening, a plucky teen (youth popster and 'Party of Five' star Hewitt) schemes to distract her cute but oblivious platonic friend (Friedle, of TV's 'Boy Meets World') from his 'dream girl,' a vampy blonde. But his attention seems to be riveted on his struggle to procure a prophylactic for use before the night's end. Look for fun bits from Majors and erstwhile teen-film hero Hall (as a psychotic city bus driver). |
