www.channel4.com - : The late, and possibly great, River Phoenix is not at his best in the so-so teenage rebel flick which has many bright, shiny people in it (Skye, Magnuson et al.), but not a great deal to say for itself. Phoenix is the titular Jimmy who, despite having a rich girlfriend, decides to play the field and bonk his way through the local (and less classy) talent. Only the slightly older (and wiser) Magnuson has any depth in this vacuous and self-serving stab at a coming of age drama. more...
