www.eonline.com - : Kevin Spacey's space traveler may have arrived on Earth to teach us the beauty of living and to devour our fruit, but we're having a bit of a difficult time swallowing this story whole. Part Starman, part Cuckoo's Nest, K-PAX isn't sure if it wants to be a well thought-out sci-fi drama or a sappy Patch Adams comedy. Thankfully, the always reliable Spacey is quite convincing, and funny, as the real deal stuck in a psych ward, while well-intentioned doc--and OG Starman--Jeff Bridges' hunt for truth gets as twisted as the search for Keyser Soze. At least K-PAX leaves audiences guessing where our visitor originates from and creates a meaningful post-movie discussion that'll have you peeking at the stars on the way home. more...
